Apart from their very successful BBC and Thames shows, Eric and Ern have appeared in other TV shows in many different guises. There have been many documentaries about them, some of which are detailed below.

Morecambe & Wise - In Their Own Words
Broadcast on New Years Day 2008, this one hour special aimed to tell the story of Britain’s best loved double act through their own words... |
|
 |
Morecambe & Wise - The Greatest Moment

Local Heroes
In a programme about, strangely enough, local heroes, this episode concentrates on Morecambe, and there is no greater hero of Morecambe than Eric. Narrated by Glenda Jackson, it takes us on a journey from the first time they met, to the new stage show "Play What I Wrote". |

The Heart and Soul of Eric Morecambe
Probably the best documentary about Eric. Many stars appear in this 60 minute special, telling of their times with the great man like Des O'Connor and Dave Alan. Eric's family are also interviewed about home life, and this is supplemented by many home video clips. |

The Unforgettable Eric Morecambe
This particular 60 minute episode concentrated on Eric, and attempts to explain who he was as a person and why he was so popular. |
