Apart from their very successful BBC and Thames shows, Eric and Ern have appeared in other TV shows in many different guises. There have been many documentaries about them, some of which are detailed below.
Unseen The Unseen Eric Morecambe
Tied in with the book release, this TV documentary contained much that was in the earlier Heart and Soul one, but with added extras. There is a look inside Eric's study, previously unreleased photographs and home video plus recording of Eric working through ideas for the shows.

Sweeney The Sweeney
In Novemebr 1978 Eric and Ern appeared as themselves in an episode of the hard hitting cop drama The Sweeney (Episode:Hearts and Minds). The episode was specially written for them after John Thaw and Dennis Waterman appeared on the Christmas 1976 Morecambe & Wise show
Fools Omnibus: Fools Rush In
A documentary following Eric and Ern through 2 weeks of rehearsals and to the recording of one of their shows. Features the process of writing, rehearsing, changing and finally broadcasting several routines to appear in the show. A great behind the scenes documentary.
Ern The importance of being Ernie
Part of the 40 Minute series, this in depth look at Ernie Wise was made after Eric's death. Ernie talks us through the early days, the success of Morecambe & Wise and of course life after Eric.
